chettle Posted May 19, 2012 Share Posted May 19, 2012 Alright folks, I'm desperately after a full drivers side front brake line, the line snappeded just next to the caliper, then the nut rounded in the block next to the metal block, so looking to change the whole line! Mack Posted May 19, 2012 Share Posted May 19, 2012 Firstly, Don't let the brake reservoir run dry, If you get an airlock I'm reliably informed its a real pain in the arse to bleed. If you have any rubber brake hose still attached to the metal brake pipe at the top put a hose clamp on it. If you don't have a hose clamp use a pair of grips as the hose is broken anyway. chettle Posted May 20, 2012 Author Share Posted May 20, 2012 I managed to get a friend of a friend to make me up a new brake pipe so we have it all sorted shes "back", although the brakes need a propper bleed as they are not 100%, i just wanted to get my car out the ghetto and home as soon as possible!
