TomS
Hi Richard and Good garage - Lockwood & Greenwood in Ashton-under-Lyne Tell Dave Greenwood you're a member of the club and you get discount rates Where are you in Manchester - and what colour - I'll keep my eyes open for you (I'm in Hyde) If you're swapping the pads - search on here for varoius options but I'd suggest Ferodo DS2500 Cheers, Ian They've stopped doing discounts for members. Just one flat rate as far as I know, that was back in December when my car was serviced and MOT'd.

HEADPHONES
I think I've caught a glimpse of your zed on Wilmslow road/Rusholme a while back at lunchtime. I'm there most lunchtimes feeding my addiction to chicken shwarma kebabs Only work round the corner so find it too hard to resist I'm another Lockwood and Greenwood user
bronzee
Firstly the cd player skips all the time? Also even though the car is low mileage and is well serviced up I was thinking of getting a p3 service done just to be sure it's all ok. Is this overkill? Does anybody know a good specialist around Manchester? And lastly these big Brembo brakes only seem mediocre. Looking at the old mot's it's only done a few thousand miles in the last few years. Dont the discs rust and ruin the pads if stood? Maybe replace the discs and pads aswell? Yes, the Bose units do have a tendancy to skip, if you do a search you will find lots of info about it. New pads, rotors and brake fluid should make a difference. No harm in giving the car a service, at least you know where you're at then. I am pretty handy and so think I will do the work myself. I have found the guides pretty helpfull on here and can't see a problem doing the diff, gearbox and coolant flush. Especially as a friend has a pit I can use. Done the oil, filter, disks and pads loads of times on other cars. It's funny because the more I use the car the better it drives. Done about 500miles in it in the last 10 days and its really freeing off. The girlfriend has to go to London so might give it to her to get another 400m in.
