mbcx4jrh
So today, after an afternoon of cleaning I got a puncture. While given my dad a spin, heard some debris go round the wheel arches. Then there was a strange hissing sound. Just 30 yards before home the tire pressure warning goes one. So ... One puncture later. Got Nissan RAC cover to put a temp plug in it. Any ideas what to do get it fixed tomorrow? The holes in the centre of the tread. And the tires have only done 500 miles. shall I just kiwk fit it? DoogyRev
Any decent tyre place will be able to fix it ..... As long as its not in the tyre wall
Kev T
had mine done recently after found small screw in centre of tread cost about £15 a local tyre shop.
mbcx4jrh
This is what did the damage - found it inside the tyre... couldn't repair, hole too big... new bridgestone for 302GBP .. was i ripped off?
mbcx4jrh
Even more annoying (we not quite), when I looked under mats in the boot: the jack was missing. I have a emergency kit for re-inflation, a wheel nut wrench, the subwoofer .. and that is it... should be anything else in there? Need to have a chat with the dealer.. Kev T
Don't fret, i think all of the uk 370's are missing the jack, the Nissan logic being that puncture weld foam will get you to nearest garage and if not you're on your own any way without spare ! No jack included, just as you say plus the locking wheel nut key.
mbcx4jrh
No jack included, just as you say plus the locking wheel nut key. Now I am confused : I don't have locking any lock wheel nuts And I *thought* to use the re-inflation kits, you have jack the car up and rotate the wheel? Haven't checked the manual on that though... Why a wrench then? seems pointless if no jack.
ferdi2000
When I bought mine I had a Jack... (although I did buy it 2nd hand). I thought they all had Jacks to be fair. Not sure if you got the best price for your Bridgestone tyre either pal, sounds a little too expensive to me.
Suits
Yeah, that tyre sounds expensive, although it always will be if it's bought and fitted there and then . What spec and size is the Bridgestone ??
Suits
I had a quick look on Black Circles and the RE050's (275/35/19) are coming up at £289.73, so you didn't do that bad really . Asuming it was worst case and it was a rear you did that is.
