I think you might have to get used to seeing the water rolling off the car Quote
Stew Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 1) Park it round the corner..... Then you don't have to look at it. 2) Take it out for a drive. 3) Don't look at it. 4) Go give it a wash and a clay, can easily be done in the wet, when it dries, wash again and wax! 5) Look on the forum for stuff to buy! 6) Shout at the rain until it goes away. 7) Cuddle the car and tell it it will be ok. 8) Take pictures of yourself in suspenders and post them up - This option with be the preferred one of SMD. 9) Start the dastardly plan to turn into into an amphibious vehicle. 10) Drink then doze in a chair. Or chase your dog about. 10 things you can do! Take your pick! Quote
Zugara Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Sell it. Don't be so stupid man.....we all suffer with the rain, you are not alone...... Quote

rtbiscuit Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 i love watching the water bead off a clean car, especially if it has really good wax on it. Quote

mbcx4jrh Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 I meant more along the lines of finding stuff to do, rather than preventing it getting wet... Quote
rtbiscuit Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 take up video games, and drive a VR version of your car on Xbox/PS3 Quote
sipar69 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I've got exactly the same problem - washed the car yesterday when the weather looked like it had picked up and it rained about 2 minutes after I finished I can live with that, but I do worry about damage from passing vans etc. Front wing got scraped within a few months of getting the car home - fortunately, the marks were very light and polished out easily. Next time we move I'm definitely looking for a place with off street parking! Quote
