Will370z
Best to pm darren-b, wasso and Gt4-zed as they are in the process of supercharging at the moment.

rtbiscuit
i'd be straight on the phone to tarmac, if its in the states he can get it for you at a sensible price.
Ian
The only place you need to go is Assaultech, they are US based but they are rolling out Vortech kits cheaper than anyone else.

Arkwright
You could try Mr.F. of MJP Eastern Auto over on Zclub.net. He has a Stillen supercharged 350Z and is a Stillen agent.
evilscorp
the bonnet bump needed to fit the stillen isnt the nicest, off to look at exchange rate graphs to plot the best time to buy, guess you just add 20% for tax or is there anyother costs involved? spursmaddave
Hmmm wasn't it your Zed that made really poor results from the upRev and is making a funny smell now If it was then not sure I would be supercharging it

Import duty etc... Generally if you ad about 30% you won't be too far off.
Southernspeed
If you're not installing it yourself I'd suggest having a chat with someone who installs and Uprev's all in house as they may give you a better price for the 'all in' job. Abbey are my local specialists but maybe one of the other Uprev specialists are closer to you? Just a thought Of course, if you've read Ian's 'how to' guide on installing one and still fancy it, then I guess buying from the US could work out cheaper. I'd still recommend Uprev over piggyback systems though.
Mark@Abbey m/s
I have a customer that wants to upgrade his HKS Supercharger kit very soon , so this low mileage kit will be for sale very soon; Would that be any good for you? , works really well on a stock Motored 350Zed with the supporting mods to handle the increased boost pressure;
cmck13
Had a look at assaultech and they have this addendum at the bottom "Attention Export Customers: US Spec Vehicles Only Complete Vortech supercharger systems are intended for use on vehicles made and operated in the USA. Fitment of these systems to vehicles not made and operated in the USA may require custom tuning." Has any one had this fitted and was it labour intensive to overcome any fitting problems? Cheers Jeff

Cheers Jeff All Vortech kits come from the US. I think Darren-B had to make one minor adjustment (Its in his thread somewhere) but apart from that its pretty straight forward

You take the TOTAL cost of the item INCLUDING shipping and then add 20% VAT & 10% import duty plus handling charges of about £20-£30. Tarmac@TarmacSportz
With the Vortech you will need to make some adjustments as Darren did, plus you may need to source the odd hose clip locally. The Vortechs are made to order, usually two-three weeks delivered to your door. Vat = cost of item + shipping and insurance x 20% Then you have duty and handling fees on top. Exchange rates change daily but if you order through me I will price match going to Assaultech direct and take out the hassle of all the extra charges. Neilp
What price are we talking shipped Tarmac? Cheers
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Would need to know what price they quote for shipping 4NZ218-110L (is for a 2003/2004) They quote $3850, shipping at a guess would prob be $400 ( It would end up around £3300 after all the hidden charges etc) But that is today at an exchange of 1.61, last month it was closer to 1.5 and the charge customs invoice you is at the time it lands with them so it can all exchange rate will alter in two-three weeks. For the last 6 months I have been calculating pricing at around 1.53 which is a safe bet for me as a seller because its so hard to predict and its better to be cautious. For safety sake ideally I would sell at £3400 tbh.. But if it was a case of someone wanting to order today, I wouldn't lose the sale over a hundred quid, plus the buyer would get a better service.
