icebiggles
Hi I have just purchased a 350z Fair Lady. I am so pleased with the car. The only problem is two of the speakers don;’t seem to be working. The sat nav and the dvd rom are still the Jap original, but there seems to be an after import nissan stereo. I can only get radio 2. Can anyone advise what replacement unit to purchase, without damaging the interior. I am also having problems accessing the rear speakers. Cheers ICE

ianphampton
I bought a Sony MEX-BT 3700 from Halfrauds - this was in Jan 2010 so you'll have to check what's available as more up to date now. Check when you buy it about fitting kits as you'll need the converter to get it in - I got them to fit it as well and although Halfrauds gets quite a bit of (sometimes well deserved) flak on here they got a specialist to call and fit it and he did a cracking job, including adding another 12V socket while he had the covers off in the car I paid £160 for the radio plus £10 or £15 for a fitting kit and £25 for the fitting - it's been great ever since (though it doesn't bluetooth to my current phone - you'll probably do better now if you get a 2012 version as mines now 2 years old.) My car's a JDM too and they dont come with clock availabilty in the 3 pods on the dash - the new radio fixed that too as I set mine to display time. . . Anyway - I thought Halfords did me a good job at a pretty fair price.
