Hennerz
Hi guys, Has anyone wrapped the roof before and willing to lend a hand helping me do mine? I have the Hexis carbon vinyl. After searching I found this guide - viewtopic.php?f=35&t=54645&hilit=roof+wrapping I am based in Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire but happy to travel to someone who has experience. Thanks, Henry
Ricey
I think djtimo did........it ended up screwed up on the floor.....I think he stamped on it too. Wrapping is a proper skill.....personally I'd sling it to a pro unless your really confident. Rtbiscuit can provide the wrap most likely. Hennerz
i have a feeling mine may go the same way if I tried. That is true, wrapped the rear strut cover, b pillars and front lip but they are all a lot small. That is where i got mine from

BulletMagnet
RTbiscuit and I did my roof in about two hours, but that was without a heatgun or hairdryer, hence why it's not perfect, but will do for me. You saw how it looked at the Chilli's Mod Day

Is it advisable to tell the insurance company as well or is there no need to worry?

Yes, also took A-Pillar covers off for easier wrapping

I have heard insurance companies not paying out because a viper stripe was not mentioned when insuring a car, not inless viper stripes really do make your car go faster. twobears
I'm sure that wrapping is considered a temporary change so you don't have to inform your insurance company, even if you change the entire vehicle cover.
KyleR
I'm 99% sure you have to tell the insurance company, but even if you wrapped the whole car in pink, you wouldn't have to notify the DVA/DVLA of a colour change as its only temporary
