Karlp
Hey guys my carbon b pillars are looking a bit whitish and faded, I've tried waxing them but they still are very faded, would spraying them with a clear coat of lacquering be worth a try?? spawn
I lacquered my m8's wrapped spoiler, and it went crazy with silicones, it was well degreased but i guess there was still silicone and wax on it? So in my experience i wouldnt.
coldel
I think its the wax that makes it go white - I black carbon wrapped a previous car part and found this happened, I solved it by rubbing some black shoe polish into it and it came up a treat! DannyBoy
I've heard many many horror stories about laquering vinyl wraps. Is just re-wrapping it with fresh stuff not an option? DB
JackStrong
Spray and buff with PTFE spray maybe ? wouldnt react and will give some shine.

Some waxes can cause cf, plastic and rubber go white'ish. Wax isn't designed for these surfaces.
Ebized
http://www.renapur.com/shop/product/renapur-balsam/ Works fine on my carbon wraps after well over two years on the car and having tried most other products like you guys ^^^ that I found don't work. Once a month or so job done, quick and easy Had the pot for 10+ years and still going strong including regular shoe cleaning use.
ChrisS
As Colin says, his look wraps like new. Pretty sure Rich 'rtbisciut' tried lacquering just to see how it turned out. It filled the little indentations and looked a bugger if I remember right. There might be a thread about it.
CrumbMC
I wrapped a few things on my old golf with 3M carbon wrap. i sprayed halfords laquer on and it turned it a really deep colour. i think it looked great. I dont know how it would work with other brands of stuff though Example:
