Mrdeli
I note that once warmed up the idle on my car is around 750rpm, but increases to around 850rpm if I turn the air con on. Is this significant? Thanks mark.
ATTAK Z
It's normal

Zugara
Engine needs to work harder if air con is on, hence increase in rpm....
KyleR
Also, hence why they say using air con at slow speeds uses up 10-20% more fuel and recommend opening the window instead and only using AC if traveling fast as the open window does more damage to the MPG... AC is not just for hot days ! I think most Zedders leave it on 24/7 to combat condensation.

Also it is good to use the air con all year round otherwise you can have problems with bacteria and all sorts of nasty stuff
KyleR
Yes, it's great for condensation, but I turn it off after the window has cleared.
