Leeroy Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Check out this insane CGI visual..... More images on the guy's website http://bullfinchvisuals.wordpress.com/2 ... i-concept/ Quote
Bakes100 Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 You no likey? I think he is shrugging because there is no animation. Its photorealistic rendering. VERY time consuming to produce something with that amount of detail. Impressive though Quote
Zugara Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Sorry guys I must be missing something? Looks like a Mini parked in front of a wall. Quote

tez162003 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 that wont handle very well. His tyres the wrong way round... As for the picture. Just looks like a mini in front of a wall taken with a good camera. Can anyone explain exactly what editing has been done? Quote

The only place to check the handling will be in Gran Turismo - the image is a 3D rendering of a car. And a wall. And some floor. Add in the sky and a whole lot of other environmental variables and you have a virtual mock-up of a Mini Quote
sasha@lazytrips Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 In normal English it's a drawing rather than a photo. Quote

docwra Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Thats not really anything special TBH - I used to be a test engineer for a company that specialised in raytraced CGI images, we did the whole Jaguar X Type press launch with pics and vids of all of the cars going through puddles, under moody lights, cutaways etc. without anyone realising the car hadnt been made yet. Cant find any of the old images but these arent too bad: All 100% graphics Quote
