elrao
Has anyone put a sub in a non-bose car in the pannel behind the driver seat (i.e. where the Bose sub is?). Saw this Bose Sub Cover but this is for a US car - are the pannels likely to be simetrical? Will this fit behind the drivers seat on a RHD car? Kuro
I've often thought of it, perhaps in the future. I have seen pics of the space, and can confirm that it's huge behind there, and should easily accomodate an average sub. In terms of placement, soundstage wise it's probably not the best - but we don't exactly have a great deal fo choice with a Zed. If you can do it, then go for it..! elrao
Cheers I have got an infinity basslink, which i hope will fit in the space (was bigger than i thought when it arrived) and have ordered one of the bose covers from the US (was only £12 extra as i was ordering some other bits too). Once my collar bone heals and I get an opportunity to try to install I'll let you know how it goes! I did consider the subs under the cross brace route as have seen some very nice custom enclosures available in the US for this - but I like having a boot!
