ric
Hi guys, Looking for a set of black wheel bolts to fit a set of rays, but unsure what to purchase (tapers or flat etc). Where am I best purchasing? Thanks,
roadtrip
I believe the 18" Rays use a 60° taper seat nut with a M12x1.25 thread, i.e. 12mm diameter and 1.25mm pitch (distance between the threads). I've no idea where you'd get black ones though, I'd check McGard first if I was you as I think the OEM ones are made by them.
jables
I bought some black nuts from Rare Rims (also a trader on here) viewtopic.php?f=113&t=57255. I'm really pleased with them, especially for the price.

ben@RARE RIMS
I would strongly suggest not having Aluminium nuts anywhere near your car. Pretty well all the nuts here would be fine: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Rarerims/_i.ht ... d=56611406 As above M12x1.25 thread is what you need. Other than the fact that a number of high performance cars are fitted with aluminium nuts including all porsche models. The bolts are a different matter, but forged aluminium alloy nuts are very popular and are perfectly fine. There is also the added matter of Aluminium being much more rust resistant which in turn means that over time, its internal structure will not sharply degrade due to to corrosion. To the OP: I run Emotion Power nuts (very similar to the ones you're looking at) and they look great, are easy to fit and are a forged aluminium alloy. Everybody has their own preferences though. Just to let you know, you have priced some nuts at £124.99 instead of £24.99. The same ones as some of us bought in the group buy a few months back. Either that or they have gone up quite a bit

Noticed someone linked to these : viewtopic.php?f=113&t=57255 on there too. Where do I send my £20 for a set of black ones? I assume these will fit my rays OK? How quickly could you get these sent out? Thanks in advance,
ben@RARE RIMS
It's a feature of ebay, if we take the listings down we are penalised, so when stock runs short the price just has to be changed They will be back to normal price again soon
tez162003
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TPI-alloy-whe ... 1962wt_702 Forget it says for Subaru its just to just a listing name, probably one further down that says Nissan. They are 12x1.25 taper for Nissans, Steel nuts so hard wearing, can choose the colour finish. They are spot on, I should know, they are from my work and I run them on my car
