rabbitstew
I dont think zed owners fall into any particular group as different people will buy a zed for different reasons. Some go for the zed as you can get an older one cheaply now, and it represents a lot of performance for little cash. Others go for the zed as they like to be different from the run of the mill person. Personally I opted for the zed over its rivals - incl porsche, bmw etc. simply because im one of those people who never follows the crowds and likes to be different. In my region zeds are as rare as rocking horse poo so it really gets noticed. It also represented great value for money - even though mine was one of the more expensive zeds out there at the time. wesmin
Are there no plasterers, joiners, brickies, electricians, bin men, sales people etc, everyone has a fancy job title nowadays even for boring jobs and even the young ones become managers as soon as they start working makes me pmsl. I was a farmer and pedigree simmental cattle breeder, then started an IT training company and now semi retired doing remote access computer support for a few small businesses. Rob22
A&E Doc I think that sounds harder than any other job on this thread and I don't mean that in a patronising way Honestly mate, it can be rough but I love it. I always leave work shattered but pretty satisfied with a days work, and I get to drive home with a smile on my face I know we have a few service guys on the forum. Have to say total respect to them, having grown up in NI I've always been amazed and extremely grateful at the way those guys put themselves on the line! for me! Have to agree with Rob here about the Service men and Woman who risk their lives daily for democracy and creating the freedom for George to stand in Bi-elections. Also big admiration for Rob and all the A&E doctors and nurses who do a magnificent job in NI with such severe cut backs in financing of the health service. take a bow Rob and all your co-workers. jell36
Agree with Rob too, most of my family are or were service men, from my great grandad to grandad to uncles to brother. What they do for us can never be valued high enough. Jay - what area of oil and gas do you work in? I work for a well known seal and electrical connector supplier in the oil and gas industry. techinstaller
45 yr old buisness owner ,supplying and installing company fleet vehicle's with telematics ,tracking,Vehicle CCTV systems,PMR radio etc we seem to specialise in working with Taxi companies supplying taxi meters and installing their specific Data and comms equipment as most of the larger companies use dedicated mdt systems. i own a workshop dealing only in the vehicle electronics ,no mechanical work is undertaken as ther are plenty of garages that deal with that kind of work. i do operate a small fleet of rental taxis as part of the buisness ,but i have no involvment in any actual taxi driving or taxi company buisness operations, drivers can use the vehicle on any company that they choose within the licensed area.
