0pus
I didnt really notice it much when I first bought the car, (august last year) but over the winter ive noticed that when i first start the car in a morning to go to work or on an evening to drive home from work when its been stood, the engine immediatley revs to over 2000rpm, almost like ive started it with the accelerator pressed to the floor. I've never had any other cars that do this and scares me to death half the time, esp when its been freezing over night and the oils thck etc.. Does anyone have this with their 350? is it by design? Hoefully someone can put my mind at rest or tell me how to fix it. I'm expecting see a piston being fired through the bonnet every time i turn the key! yankeesiter
I get round it by turning the key once but not enough to fire it. The second time the engine usually turns over a few times before starting, at least allowing the bearings to get some oil.
