squit
Just got my car back from the paint shop after having the front bumper resprayed , new grill installed and badge smoothed out. I'm happy with the result just need to work out where to put the number plate or whether to get a square when one any ideas?

brillomaster
plate lives in the front window... in the unlikely event you get pulled, you're just on your way to get it fitted
dragon
such a shame that you have to fit one on.
Neilp
I really dont like the plate on the grille at all, takes away some shape to the front bumper somehow. Like someone who is old as fook and their face has started to droop !!
DoogyRev
Looks great smoothed out Has anyone ever fitted a plate on brackets to the very bottom of the bumper? Also do anyone know if your still allowed to have a sticker instead of a proper plate?
squit
yeah might just end up leaving on the dash as can't decide. Are you allowed to put the plate behind the grill as its preety see though

Ian
plate lives in the front window... in the unlikely event you get pulled, you're just on your way to get it fitted +1 though my current excuse is that I have a new bracket on order from Japan
RXS
I personally think that looks awesome. So much so, that i need one of those grills in my life. Where did you get it from, if you don't mind me asking ?? Regards RXS
squit
The mesh was just a cheap one got off ebay, link below. It's good quality though. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALUMINIUM-BLACK-MESH-GRILL-KAMEI-HONEYCOMB-A2-A3-A4-A5-40X100cm-/140653665091?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item20bf9c9b43#ht_5724wt_1396

Ebized
Not sure I'd put any obstruction in front of the rad... +1 - might find your fans working overtime in hotter weather or when you are giving it the beans
ATTAK Z
I (and others) had no issues with the plate in front of the rad

Also do anyone know if your still allowed to have a sticker instead of a proper plate? Strictly speaking, stickers aren't legal - although no-one's entirely sure why (clicky for example). You can get them for "show use only". I know a few people using them and the only person to have any trouble for it was the one who wasn't using a reflective background - he was only given a slap on the wrists and told to change it over though. Neilp
am i the only person who thinks the plate on the grille makes the front of the zed look a bit bizarre?
Luke0549
The plate in the grill looks appalling, looks worse than a standard bumper IMO. I'm going to hopefully smooth my bumper, but going to get a retractable plate. Cost £100, but wired to a button on the dash and you can have it up or hidden in moments. coldel
Well, just in the process of moving my plate back up to the bumper - I thought it looked fine on the grille - love the A7TAK one in particular, very stylish - but going to revert to bumper as it didnt quite look right with the Stillen splitter...still would prefer it without a plate at all... Guyus
Yeah no plate is the best look for sure

Yeah I was thinking about retractable plate but would have to cut hole in the grill for it, unless I had it come out at the bottom.
RXS
To ATTAKZ. How do the 'sunsport' grills fit ? Do they fit over the existing grill or do you have to remove it ? Regards, RXS
