Just a quick thought after a pleasant experience today -

 

Called in to Lockwood and Greenwood (Manchester) (now in Ashton as they've moved from Droyslden) to check an engine management light & fault code.

 

They'd been busy a couple of days ago when it first appeared - but Dave called me today and said they could check it this afternoon. Note - no prompting, he knew I wanted it checked, so HE CALLED ME without any chasing

 

Put it straight on the analyser, gave me the printout after clearing the light. It had taken probably about 15 minutes.

 

I said - "What do I owe you for that?" and he said "Oh, nothing, you've been in a few times, we know you"

 

Now I know it wasn't a huge gesture - but isn't it nice when you have a garage you can rely on, who calls you back, and is happy to build the relationship?

Great service,most dealerships would charge you 50 quid.

And to be fair I'm informed it does cost most dealerships a fair bit of money to have Consult if thats what they used - so kudos to them :thumbs:
