JackStrong
Hi I found my car today with the drivers side light washer fully out, passenger closed. The car has been parked up for sometime and Im sure it wasnt like this earlier in the morning. Has it been vandalised or possible electrical fault. I just pushed it back in. How do i engage the light washers btw, so i can check its still working ? Thanks
ZMANALEX
Just using your windscreen washers for the first time will activate the headlamp washers. Alex.
Ebized
Turn the headlights on - they work automatically first time (with wipers on) then will work every so often dependent upon how many times you choose to use the screenwash. Suggest you stand clear at the time (if someone is operating the th screenwash for you) or stay in the car. Maybe bit of dirt got lodged last time you used them for the one to stay out. That's a bit of wishful thinking for you
MITZ@CougarStore
Just using your windscreen washers for the first time will activate the headlamp washers. Alex. As Alex has said but you’ll need your headlights to be switched on too…
JetSet
They can pop out if its below freezing too. It was certainly below freezing here last night. Pete
JackStrong
Ok tried it again. After engaging it, the drivers side doesn't fully retract :S ...
ZMANALEX
The front jet cover is spring loaded. There are various reasons why it may not be retracting fully: Alignment Obstruction Damage Frozen Also check to see if the jet cover has came adrift from the pump/nozzle. It is only held in place by two plastic lugs and is a push fit. Pump/nozzles and jet covers in stock if required Alex. Ok tried it again. After engaging it, the drivers side doesn't fully retract :S ...
