matty316
Hi guys i need some help, just took the cover off the Zed after being parked up for 5 months, had the battery on charge for the last 4 hrs, turned it over and it started. I let it.warm up for 15 mins, but then i noticed all the dash was lit up with the engine management light, esp etc and it wouldnt rev above 2000 rpm. Should i leave it kn charge all night and try it when the battery should be fully charged?
Lexx
Leave battery on charge over night. Start her tomorrow, then perform an ECU reset if it's still all lit up like an xmas tree.
Sam Mcgoo
A knackered battery does do funny thing on these cars, so could just need replacing. A battery left for 5 months isn't gonna be in a good state. However, sounds like it gone into limp mode if it won't let you rev. I would check the error codes and see what it says. If you don't know how, look in the guides section for resetting the ECU and the procedure is in there.

matty316
Got the car sorted today, left the battery on charge all night then did the ecu reset and it worked perfectly. Had it serviced and m.o.t'd now i can enjoy it again.
