In English? bloody hell digsy !! are the wheel nuts (lug nuts ) that came with your new set of rims, the type that are splined along their length. as opposed to having a hexagonal (i.e bolt head shape ) These require a special socket to tighten them..??? If "splined across their length" means they look like sockets rather than nuts (hexagonal shape on the inside not outside) then yes, that's what were supplied but without the tool. Fortuitously, the guys that fitted them did have the special socket (and some nice valves) and have given it to me (had to pay for the valves though). Disaster averted.
