clark354uk
Hi, I am considering getting a full cream interior for my Zed. Has anybody had the complete interior replaced, and if so how much am I looking at please? I would welcome any suggestions or ideas. Thanks in advance, Clark
DoogyRev
Cream looks good but not very practical IMO I hope you have lots of leather cleaner
spursmaddave
What do you mean by 'full cream' ? Seats would be best part of £800-1000 alone depending on quality of the leather...
clark354uk
Sorry I meant the full interior done out in cream coloured leather, carpets, dash, doors etc. I have had a price for seats £750.00 in nappa, but want the whole inside to match. I would guess double that probably more You could maybe flock all the plastics rather than cover in leather...
clark354uk
Don't mind plastic/vinyl as long as it looks good.
DannyBoy
I've had qoutes around the £2k mark for a full leather retrim including door cards and dash ( the side bits not the centre console) as this is also something i'm considering. That was for full Nappa leather, in black in my case although i doubt colour will affect the price. DB
bronzee
One of our cars has pale'ish carpet and full cream leather. If you plan to wear dark coloured clothing or dark jeans, I'd be very weary as it will mark very easily, even if it's extremely good quality leather. Visually all the cream looks very plush. Paler coloured carpets are a bit of a 'mare to keep clean, unless you have a separate pair of shoes just for being in the car.

And I imagine it would be worse over here with our weather If you plan to use the car just for shows then great, also think about resale time, having a completely cream interior is only going to appeal to a VERY small amount of buyers.... Stew
Cream isn't bad if you keep on top of it. I've looked after my dads cars with light leather and it's ok. I think it could add a real luxury feel to the zed.
BulletMagnet
When covering the dash, please remember the passenger airbag

Vik54
Rene had quite a nice cream interior in his -who bought his car in the end? Any of the Scots know? His original user name was D13vyl
bronzee
also think about resale time, having a completely cream interior is only going to appeal to a VERY small amount of buyers.... From that aspect, the 350's in the US with the stock "frost" leather are favourably looked upon, so that may not be an issue.
spursmaddave
True but there is a difference between a limited edition rarity and a bespoke interior. All depends how it is done but one thing is for sure it won't add anythig to the value of the car evenif you spend £3k doing a superb job
