theheff
looking into getting an injen CAI kit for my 04 zed. i keep reading about heat soak and how it will effect the power. the injen kit, like the momentum one i believe (another option and probably favourite if someone could source it) holds the filter in front of the radiator behind the bumper. i can see how the heat soak may occur when stationary but surely when the car is moving it will only get cold air coming in from the front of the car and the heat soak pretty much be non existant. any views on that? andlid
Momentum are gone just so you know. I would keep oem, get new drop in filter and mod the airbox.

andlid
If noise is what you want.. dont care about heatsoak...
leodspider
If you really want the momentum intake I will be selling mines in 3/4 months as it won't fit with the plans I have going. But if you want it sooner I believe their is still one left on national speed in the us , but it's the polished version, not the crinkle black.
