spursmaddave
You can take the main dials out, take off the needle and put it back but to be honest its a lot of messing about really.... you will be glad when you go past a 30mph speed camera doing 33mph then realise you are safe
JohnUKVetteNut
OK I'll live with it then! johnukvettenut
simon da silva
tbh its quite normal that the speedo is showing numbers higher then the actual speed.. only problem is, if its like 5% more then the real speed your car will also have 5% more miles on the clock then it has actually driven
ijam
Do you have different wheels/tyres to standard? If your tyre diameter is different that will put your speedo out. cheers Ian
Lexx
Do you have different wheels/tyres to standard? If your tyre diameter is different that will put your speedo out. cheers Ian This. If you have a different rolling radius to OEM set-up, your speedo will be inaccurate. But, every car I have ever owned has had a small percentage difference between actual speed and GPS indicated speed.
