SteveJJH
OK, so I've read this: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16403 but the place I bought my head unit (Pioneer AVH-1400DVD) from told me I didn't need a fascia. I noticed the unit came with something that looks like a fascia, but i'm not exactly sure how it fits. Is the darker black plastic surround from the original HU removable? It looks a bit like it might be glued to the lighter coloured textured plastic of the dash. It seems what came with my HU has the same outside dimensions, so it should fit... DannyBoy
My pioneer came with a fascia surround too, and it was in no way the right size for the Zed's dash. Having said that, neither was the one I bought from sextons, so you may just have to put up with a gap or make your own. Hope i'm wrong in your case, but that was my experience. spursmaddave
Some makes are better than others but the Zed console is quite curved so you need some type of fascia to make it look half decent.

SteveJJH
I think I'm going to live with the gap, I've had a decent look in daylight now and it doesn't look too bad
Neilp
for the sake of a tenner I would rather have a complete unit than have it looking half done and tatty
