Mrcofpep
Help needed.. Can't decide whether to buy Axis Shine or Ruff Racing in chrome.. both look so good. I have chilli. Axis Shine 19in are $1350 + $375 shipping. Ruff Racing $999 + $375 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/19-AXIS- ... QQtcZphoto http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/19-RUFF- ... Beavis
I think the axis look the best of the two
Kev946
Check the offsets. The Axis are quoted as 35mm/40mm. These will look like a train, i.e. tucked too far in. For a 8.5.9.5 you need something like a +22. That's the offset Volks recommended.
Sarnie
i PREFER THE RUFF ONES
rickya
Watchout with the Axis seller, Need for Speed have had some bad feedback on a couple of US msg boards regarding slow delivery times. If you want Ruff Racing this US seller is usually cheaper & does deals if you contact directly, especially with Invoice amount on shipping papers. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/VQMotorings-Online-Store_W0QQssPageNameZstrkQ3amefsQ3amesstQQtZkm
Digsy
The Ruff are the nicer design (I did order a set myself but that's another story) but I believe the Axis wheels to be better quality from both what I've read on the Yank forums and from the guy who I took delivery of my Axis wheels (another story ). stuey
both nice wheels but by the time you paid the duty on them are they any cheaper.........
lomoto
both would look nice on your colour car but Axis wheels have wrong offset for a Zed, Ruff wheels will be OK though (same offset as I have )
Stew
I like the style of the Ruff wheels. I would shy away from any chrome wheel in the UK though. Unless they are strictly summer only and you wash them everytime you stop the car! The chrome comments come from experience.

sl114
Personally im not a fan of either, however the Axis Shine alloys are the better of the two in my opinion. Mainly as i do not like split spokes.
Mrcofpep
I have also had a bad experience with chrome alloys before. They lasted 1 year and the chrome started peeling. The Ruff racing are triple coated, but whether this makes any difference I'm not sure. Any1 else had problems with chrome wheels. Think I like Axis best but if there the wrong offset, Ruff Racing may be the way forward.
