Removed
post a pic with the tyres on the scale please, and inflated if you can! that'd be interesting. PS I'd suggest you don't put them on the Z if you drive it daily, with this type of weather and salt on the roads.... that lip is going to take some proper battering if you do

rickya
Thanks Chaps for your comments She doesnt really get driven much & not everyday, bit pampered really!! I have bought an anti corrosion spray called AF-250 which I have applied on it alreday. After doing a lot of research on US forums (popular in US) etc, nobody has corrosion problems, but that is the US, not rainswept bligthy!! I was meaning to weigh just the tyres but completely forgot & now its too late as theyr already on

rickya
PS Thanks to Lomoto ; The Minel ; & Kev946 for their help while deciding, I must have bugged them with numerous pm questions about sizes & offsets etc. I think IMO the setup looks spot on, just as I wanted it. The rears have the wide filling out the arches look, almost reminds me of 911 porkers now! (It has completely changed the look of the car from the back, its as if someone has stretched it out, like widescrren 16:9 mode!!) The only thing I may alter at next tyre change is to go for 235/40/19 instead of what I have now 245/40/19.

Its just that many sports cars tend not to go over 225 or 235 on the front as this can create a little bit of understeer due to larger wider footprint. IMO the zeds steering is perfect with 225 it comes with up front. Since fitting 245 the front wheels just seem a tiny weeny bit numb when turning the wheel IMO. I prefer a more point & shoot, sharp turn in that IMO 225 /235 would give you a little more of. Also going 235 will stiffen the sidewalls more than 245. Its one of the reasons why the Vauxhall Vx220 has such amazing precise handling is due in part to its very skinny front tyres.

P15UL T
these are sweet rims do you know if they are split rims that can be taken apart into two peices ? do you have any pics with them on the car
rickya
They'r not split rims, they are just made in that design look. Though split rims are usually more expensive & heavier, though probably stronger. I will post pics on the car ASAP
