Brushless motors are faster than some nitro cars but the problem is battery life. This is why I ventured onto nitro as it never runs out. It's just a freakin pain to keep them running well..... yep it costs a fair bit and alot of time needs to be spent. As long as you do the checks after your finished with it, it will be fine. Use after run oil etc and clean it with degreaser. If you learn to tune them then its alot easier. Always use a temp gun to check the engine temps as this is what kills a nitro car.
