Shinjuku
Was wondering how much it would cost to change my radiator on an 05 zed. Basically I would want something reasonable quality and as cheap as possible. What is the best part. Also is changing the radiator a significant job or is it similar to other cars. Anything unusual? Thanks Shinjuku

Ian
Koyo make the best drop in radiator, its a straight forward straight swap. changing it out is pretty easy, the hardest bit is getting the fan shrouds to come out. On my Z it took me about 45 mins to get the old one out and the new one in Why are you wanting to change it? The stock unit is pretty good & people only really upgrade when going FI
Shinjuku
I was just thinking that its 6 years old. How long do radiators normally last. Cant be a lot more than that?

If you look after it (proper coolant and cleaning salt/crud off the outside regularly) there's no reason it shouldn't outlast the car barring physical damage like stones or trees
Shinjuku
I would if I bought new but I doubt previous owners have done so.
