OllyB
Hey A Z has recently come up in white on autotrader. Its a 08 plate with 14000 miles on the clock and there asking £14495 for it. This seems a bit more expensive than others of similar mileage and age considering this is a private sale and therefore does not come with any sort of warranty. The ad says full service history, I have emailed the seller to see if this is a FULL service history i.e. yearly rather than going on miles. Your thoughts would be appreciated OllyB
manphibian
Link would help, people on the internet are verrrryyyy lazy
OllyB
I know, tried to pull it off autotrader but just brings up the search?????
OllyB
try this http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/used/cars/nissan/350_z/postcode/tn299rt/radius/1500/sort/priceasc/colour/white/maximum-age/up_to_4_years_old/body-type/coupe/price-from/14000/price-to/15000
Lexx
I think that's pretty fairly priced considering the low milage and age.
OllyB
I only ask because there are others for up to £1000 less with circa 20000 miles which are the same age or younger from dealers, does white command a premium?
Lexx
White is alot rarer colour, it was only introduced to the Uk cars in 2008 (I was actually the first owner of a UK spec white Zed). A quick look on autotrader shows that the ones of same age milages etc that are cheaper are either roadsters (awful time of year to try and sell a soft top) or they don't have the GT pack. 2 of them from dealers seem ok, but like any car you wouldn't know until you went to look at them. Ken
Looks like a good price to me.
R35LEE
A great car and amazingly low miles. A rare thing
OllyB
just had a chat with the seller, the car was serviced at 9000 miles however this is the only service it has had in 4 years, which worries me a bit...........
Sarnie
My concern would be that it has been clocked. As a new car it wouldn't have needed a MOT until recently and not servicing would mean that they could have put any kind of mileage on it and then wound it back come MOT time.....at 13k it should still be like new, if it's not pristine then walk away. And I wouldn't be paying anything like the asking price either.
OllyB
service was done by nissan dealer early 2010? What kind of price do you think would be a fai offer if it looks genuine?
EH 370z
Hope this helps a bit, but looks a nice, clean low mileage car, everything that everyone wants. Sometimes you have to pay for the privilege!! See below from CAP, maybe a chip of £250 might be appropriate? OllyB
thanks EH 370Z, what does retail mean? is that the price you would pay at a dealer with some warrenty?
DoogyRev
Thats what a dealer would charge.... no warranty unless there was any left over on the original purchase IIRC

I certainly wouldn't pay any more than the 'Average' price of £11,750. Yes, it has low mileage but how can that be verified as authentic? OllyB
not sure I'd have the bottle to offer that low but I think 13.5k would be more realistic (as long as the condition reflects the mileage!)
