Neilp
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-/220933502635?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3370a9b6ab#ht_500wt_1287 Just spotted this on ebay. 165k on clock... Must be one of the highest mileage zeds I've seen Just shows how long the engine will last if maintained correctly..
coldel
Impressive. Actually makes me wonder if I could keep it for another 6 or 7 years! Would love it if I could.
brillomaster
wow good work whoever put that many miles on a zed! although, i can't think of a better cruiser thats still interesting - but with so many inevitable motorway miles, im wondering if the original owner wasnt kicking himself that he didnt get cruise control! spursmaddave
Mine is on 101k now and it feels great to me The engine hardly used a drop of oil from January last year to November, certainly didn't need a top up anyway. I reckon these engines are pretty bomb proof..... well unless you put normal 95 ron unleaded in them
D4XNY
Welll that car has obviously put a lot of smiles on faces to get up to that figure! Fair Play!! Nice to see a car being enjoyed!!
rtbiscuit
big displacement, an engine that spends most of its life at the lower rev range at cruising speed its only on about 3k rpm at 100k its just about broken in. engine should easily be good for 200k things like big v8 can easily see 250k to 300k good maintanence is the key though. bronzee
When you look at that thread across the pond about 100k mile plus 350's, plus the odd one that spring up with 200k, it should have more life in it yet.
HassanZ
I test drove that in January 2010 just before I bought mine. It was at a dealer based in Hinckley. The mileage doesn't seem to have moved since then...
Daryl
I smell a rat. Why have they only owned it for 3 months? I dont believe they have suddenly decided that they need a more practical car. Good to see that the engines can stand good mileage.
Dblock
I always thought they are fine for 100k plus. My 350 is on 90k and my 172 is on 106k and feels fresh. Aslong as engines are maintained properly and driven alot they will be fine. If you think a Japanese car will blow up at 100k you need a slap
