theheff
Get a squeaky noise at idle from the ngine bay. It sounds like its coming from the pulleys but not entirely sure. Im pretty sure its being made by a belt. Its worse when the engine is cold. Is this normal or can it be sorted out. If so how please? Cheers
Ken
Sounds like it may be the belt slipping on the pulley.

ZMANALEX
How do you readjust them please mate? There are adjuster tensioner pulleys for each belt Your garage should keep you right, hwever if they have any issues then please do ask them to get in touch. Lexx
Had to correct your spelling in the title. Was doing my OCD head in! It's "idle" not "idol"!
theheff
You knew what i meant Are they easy to adjust, ill be looking to do it myself. What sort of tension should the pulleys be at?
theheff
right, had a look at this yesterday, the noise seemed to be coming from the left most pulley, i squirted a bit of wd40 onto the spindle part and this seemed to sort the matter. is this something i need to have looked at, i.e. could the spindle be slightly out of line, the pulley doesn't seem to be wobbling at all. Bakes100
I get a high pitched squeel from a pulley on mine when cold as well, definitely isn't the belt slipping.
