stuarty
Bought my Zed as a second car. Recently my son passed his driving test and has claimed my everyday car for himself! Now that im using my Zed most days, its a bit impractable and im spending on fuel. Viewed a car today and was shocked by what i was offered as a trade in. My cars a 54 plate GT in Gunmetal, Orange leather, 55k miles full service history and its totally standard and pristine. Can anyone tell me what it should be worth? We had a customer last week who paid a shade under £7,000 for an 04 GT pack Zed, it had the optional RAYS, mileage was 54k...

Ekona
Sounds about right as a trade in tbh. Dealer needs to make a profit somewhere, so they'll a grand and a half on that and be prepared to be haggled down the £500.
Simon+Kat
Seems between £6500 and £9000 private, looking around Autotrader etc.
rtbiscuit
trade in is never a nice price, but they do it because A they have to make profit somewhere and B you get the andvantage of a quick sale, but they might be stuck with it for months. and if your desperate to sell then they know people are willing to take the hit. if you want more cash back a private sale is the only route. as for the trade in offer, seems about right to be honest.
