Ruddles
A question to anyone and everyone really. I'm on course to complete 2 NVQ course within the company I work for. HACCP (1 full day course) and IOSH (4 full days course). Just wondering if these are worth the time, merit, qualification, future prospects, etc. Anyone with some knowledge about these? Cheers!! M9O OEY
Iv got iosh it's a nationally recognised qualification as is as is haccp when I went for a different job 3 yrs ago they were more interested in the H&S qualifications than my electrical qualifications and I got the job . Personally i think any extra qualification there willing to put u through is a bonus and could always help in the future when looking for a different job
rtbiscuit
extra quals show you to be hard working and willing to push yourself, not just someone who does the bare miniimum., personally H&S course bore the pants off me, but they are valued. Ruddles
Thanks for the replies biscuit and M90! I suppose in this day and age of having to train for every minute thing it's good to have something surrounding H&S. Thanks for confirming. Suppose I better get ready for them next week then!
