cmck13
Through financial caution to the wind because my spirit is weak and bought a set of Eibach anti roll bars, front and rears. The deal with CS was super slick and was completed in ten minutes, £375 in total, yes £375!! carriage fees waved as an extra Xmas bonus for me. What can I say, an absolute pleasure doing busines with them. Happy new year boys. Jeff.

Everytime something new comes in the post I just tell the GF it was cheap" Yeah it was only £50" lol Thankfully to my mrs most things are just bits of twisted metal and worth nothing Happy new year mate Steve
cmck13
Quick catch up on these roll bars. Took these down to my local mechanics for fitting, far too old to roll around the floor in cold weather for me. However any one with a reasonable mechanical understanding should be more than capable in fitting these. A few tips though, Eibach state an hour for each bar but thats really only able if you have access to a ramp to work under with all four wheels removed. Two people are required due to the handling required to take off and feed through these bars from the outside. Check your droplinks before undertaking any work, these like most items underneath are usuall rusted on and require cutting off. I had to buy a full set. Times for the novice would be more like 2hr a set. They were set as below, Front, Full Forward - Firmest Setting, Dry Road. Rear, Mid Setting - Street Performance, Dry Road You would need to set these to the opposite settings for wet, slick or track driving Not been able to go the track (Cadwell Park) yet but just with the drive home immediately noticed how much firmer it was. Later on I was able to go for a trip around the Lincolnshire Wolds (the only hilly, curvy area we have). What a difference, wow, using safe driving conditions, no officer it only looked as though I was speeding The cars stuck like the proverbial to a blanket. Eibach state this is what you should achieve with these bars and it did, Reduction of body roll when driving in curves and during fast changes of direction Unimpaired spring comfort at bilateral spring deflection Decreasing the load difference between the wheels inside and outside the curve Impacting the under- or over-steering tendency positively (auto-steering behaviour) So Steve it achieved what I wanted and was it worth it, yes. A few thanks, specially to CS for supplying the bars great service and to my lads who fitted them, a few more comments for them below if your interested. I use a local garage called Newton and Bailey Japanese Specialists at Lincoln, the two guys are fully qualified nissan engineers who have set up business on their own. I have had nearly all my work done by them even though I think that the Lincoln Dealers are very good and would not knock them. The only problem with the dealer is their prices, my lads price for labour is £45 plus vat, the dealers are double that. They undertake all work and are a pleasure to do business with, no issues taking your own parts and understand fully sports mods etc, one of them has a nice EVO he uses. Well worth a try if they are local enough for you. Cheers Everbody Jeff

Freebird
nice to read a decent review I myself have come from a car that handled like a go kart on rails and do like the comfort of the ride in the zed but feel myself wanting more performance in the corners. I assume that standard suspension and this ARB kit would get the kind of effect im after? I feel this could be an expensive year for me modification wise haha
cmck13
Hi Freebird I know what you mean, the Z fast becomes a money magnet. The anti roll bars do help a lot, coilovers lowering assists more but this small mod will go a long way. Happy Motoring Jeff
