rhys1344
I was wondering if anyone has put LED "side lights / running lights" in the bit where the vertical reflectors are on the front corner of the bumper? and how much of a job it would be to actually do it, I think it could look quite alright, a bit like the shitroen DS3 style
schift
It's possible, but there aren't very many options for the prefacelifted models as the reflectors do not come apart easily. One option is this, although I'm sure you could do it cheaper by making it yourself. I personally think they look @*!#. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/350z04d/50-3071

rhys1344
any pics of these installed on a Zed? preferably white LED lol it just seems to me that a "reflector" is a bit pointless, i mean its the first thing that comes off a bike when you buy one.. so why should they be on a sports car, just seem like they should be lights... but aren't
Boycey
Check out this thread. viewtopic.php?f=38&t=41016&hilit=Boycey&start=15 I put them on my zed and a few others have done the same. They looked pretty good but came out a little too blue for my liking but maybe that we just the led strip quality
schift
Ever seen them on a zed I personally think they look @*!#. I haven't, but I can't imagine they look much different in person. I don't like the way that you can see the individual LEDs. It looks cheap. CCFL tubes or LED set ups on the facelift Zeds look awesome though! CCFL: LED:
rhys1344
now they're cool! How would you go about wiring them into the sidelights though? I'm not to hot with auto-electrics
Andy1981
Where would I buy some of the ccfl tubes? and how much are they? Are they easy to wire up to side lights?

Dicky
I'd like to convert my reflectors to DRL but dont like to see individual led's, I also find they look a bit naff (hate the xmas tree effect on audies and othe recent models. Anyone used cold cathode fluorescent tubes before? Can you get 12v versions and do they strike up instantly unlike a normal fluorescent tube? models. ashyk36
Would they not break if you were on a motorway and a stone hit them? Where do you get these from anyways?
