Resetting the ECU after modifications

Hi everyone. Just out of interest, is it 100% necessary to disconnect the battery to reset your ECU on the Zed after fitting a Pop-charger, new exhaust system or Plenum spacer etc? Or will the ECU relearn everything after 200miles or so anyway? I haven't bothered disconnecting the battery as I don't seem to have a head-unit code, so hoping it would have sorted itself out, or will it definitely be beneficial to do this? Any info would be helpful.

No need to disconnect battery to reset. Use the guide here to do it.

 

If you have the standard bose fitted, you don't need a Radio Code as it is effectively "married" to you cars ECU.

I didnt have to re-set after fitting a pop charger. Everything was fine.
