GC350z
Can't wait to fire it up. You can even hear it hit second gear in that vid.
Stew
Is it a Traxxas nitro 4Tec? I have one and can confirm the 65mph top speed. It's rapid! Race my mates Evo (400bhp) with it and absolutely thrashed him!
GC350z
It's a Team Associated NTC3
Ian
Thats awesome. How long does the fuel last you? There used to be some guys in college that raced them through a park at lunch time, was always great to watch
monkfish
If I was a mouse, or some other small mammal, I'd definitely have one of those. Awesome. In your face Stuart Little!!

rmmackfc
Too good...looks fast. One of my mates used to have a petrol rc car...kept flooding the engine! Anyone got one of those Rc helicopters you can get off firebox? Heard they are only any good indoors.....which got me thinking, I could annoy the hell out of my colleagues at work airwolf style! GC350z
Right. Just had a test run in my underground car park and as a result of the noise it wont happen again. Also, when we first started it up the throttle was stuck open. It shot off and ploughed into my Z. Shouldn’t of been a problem but the starter was still in the top of the car so it wedged under the front bumper. Few little scratches. No big deal really and was funny. Video is low quality and very dark but still gives a good impression of it running. Will do better when I mount a wireless camera.

GC350z
Nitro season starts here this weekend so I'll be entering it for the laugh. New car arrives this week. http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/detail.html?product_id=100238 Comparing this one to the Team Associated I started this thread with is like comparing an Ferrari F1 car to the 350Z. I'm never going to grow up.

GC350z
http://rc-mushroom.com/product_info.php?cPath=35&products_id=11674 Are you sure??? The car alone from that site is $475. Then you have to factor in the tires, servo's (2, I got the best at $95 each), receiver, controler, engine ($250 - $700) and fuel. Expension hobby. Zedrush
How much !!!! I thought you were gonna say about 100 quid
GC350z
No such luck. I paid €250 for the car and engine from a mate that ran the car last year. Rebuilding it now with new parts and the engine has already been broken in and tuned for me so I can floor it from the start. By the way the engine runs at 32000 RPM
Zedrush
Damn, am well jealous, guess Ill have to wait a while before can get one. Or wait a year down the line you might sell yours at a good price
Stew
Well worth having an RC car to play with. I have two....
monkfish
By the way the engine runs at 32000 RPM That's about the same as a Civic Type R isn't it?
