csiu
Hello guys I've ordered a 2007 350z with VQ35HR engine. Can anyone tell me whether the Spiils grounding kit will fit on this engine? I haven't seen the car yet so don't know those grounding mount locations.
Spill
Looking at the photos, I think upper and lower plenum are now plastic, so installation would need quite a bit of modification, would have to see one to be 100% http://jimwolftechnology.com/vq35hr/index.htm but there's always a way

csiu
Hello guys I've ordered a 2007 350z with VQ35HR engine. When is it arriving? Whats the difference in the new engine? Should be arriving in February. Oh there's a massive thread about the differences, but mainly more power (313ps) ,higher redline (7500rpm) and dual intake,
GC350z
Quite a lot from I've gathered from this pdf. http://www.nissan-global.com/EN/DOCUMENT/PDF/IREVENT/PRESEN/2006/060824_IR-VQEngine_Eng.pdf 7500RPM Max BHP is over 300. Can't find exact figure only rumours. Acceleration G is up to 0.8 Claims 0-60 is reduced by a second Improved fuel efficiency (10%) and reduced emissions Dual intakes. And a shed load more changes. Sarnie
Claims 0-60 is reduced by a second Sorry but I don't believe that one

Removed
didn't know they would bring it in so soon in the Uk though, only Feb? it's not out in the US yet!
GC350z
Yea, if I was you csiu I'd check that out with the dealer just to be sure. Here in Ireland they don't seem to of noticed the check the engine received in the facelift. In face most are bearly aware there was a facelift at all. If the HR is out this year I might trade in now. Guy
Removed
have you seen the bonnet of the 2007 hr z???? that might make you change your mind...
H5
Claims 0-60 is reduced by a second Sorry but I don't believe that one Correct, you'd need a directly proportionate amount of power increase to get that (approx. 50 bhp).
GC350z
Yea, not so sure now. http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2006/12/2008-nissan-350z-new-313hp-35-v6-minor.html But then again, my Z is a 04 which has less power then a 06 and a bonnet can always be changed. That site has the hp at 313. Guy

The 07 model has been available to order in the US since early November, and customers are starting to get their hands on the 07 recently. Sorry didn't make myself clear.... I'm buying it in Hong Kong not in the UK!!

Davey316
Sorry didn't make myself clear.... I'm buying it in Hong Kong not in the UK!! Nice one , hows the end cost compare to a UK supplied car? PS. I'd hold off on the grounding kit as I don't expect it will direct fit, but I'm sure there will be one available soon. Dave

Dave Converted back into Sterling it came out just over 27 grand, not bad considering cars here get taxed a lot.
