Removed
when switching the A/C on, the radiator fan starts too. Doesn't matter whether I blow cold or hot air, the rad fan still goes?? Surely that's not normal, is it??

Removed
I seem to remember i read something somewhere about this, can't remember where?
Guest prescience
I would personally be surprised if they run all the time; I must admit I recall reading (not that I can find it either) that its the ECU which sends a signal to switch them on when required but that they are not auto-running with A/C. A few people posting up will satisfy this though ps its better for them to run that not
M13KYF
not both on at the same time for me. Run with the air con on all the time.
Trev-the-Rev
not both on at the same time for me. Run with the air con on all the time. Same with mine - fan and A/C operate independently.
Removed
to clarify it's the front radiator fan in the engine bay that seems to be starting with the A/C. I don't think it's normal, will have to go get it checked.

Removed
booked it in for Thursday (well for confirmation of the fault, what a PITA!) including boot struts and clicking noise (might as well do the lot)
Removed
apparently this is normal??? can you guys do me a favour and switch the aircon on, open the bonnet and check if the rad fan is blowing? Might be that it's normal but mine has just become slightly noisier? Getting clicking axle done under warranty and should also get uprated boot struts, fingers crossed
Removed
the 350z-tech guys also confirmed it's normal.... I'd never noticed the noise before so my rad fan must b getting noisier then
