From my experience the following 2 areas are the most important in photography:

1. Composition

The rule of thirds - http://www.digital-photography-school.c ... -of-thirds

2. The 3 parameters

ISO + Shutter speed + Aperture

http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutori ... posure.htm

I'll PM you some docs in a minute, they are all she needs to master digital photography provided she has the willing, the patience and the interest to learn. (12 months digital photography course PDFs)

Good luck to her! :)

First and ONLY rule of photography - there are NO rules.

For instance, how much would you pay to have this hung on your wall?

Rhein_II.jpg

£50, £200 or maybe £1000?

Nope - just sold for £2.7 million in New York.

I'm out to take a few snaps of Axbridge reservoir and see if I can make a couple of mill before sunset.................
