theheff
Toying with the idea of relocating the front number plate. Either off setting it or leaving it in place but replacing it with either a stick on plate or fitting the standard plate direct to the bumper without the black backing. Anyone else done this and have any pictures or views on how it looks?
ATTAK Z
A few of us have done this... here's mine
LRF4N
On a modded zed with the right bumper off set plates can look good
Captain Vimes
The Zed is one of very few cars where a quality stick on works great. I used stick ones on MX5's and MR2's and wil be going down this route when I get mine. They do vary in quality though. Do not get a cheap ebay one! Yes you are correct So to get that look involves filling the holes and a repaint of the bumper...so anyone going for that look needs to price up that work...still,it does look good, especially with that grill. rabbitstew
What i did was remove the black numberplate mount and then stick a normal plastic number plate directly on the bumper itself. That hides the holes and looks 100 times better than having the black mount there. If you use decent sticky pads the numberplate bends to the same shape as the bumper. LRF4N
+1 the holes meant I had to put the plate a bit higher than I wanted but still much neater
coldel
A few of us have done this... here's mine I am wondering whether to move the plate down onto the grill, any problems with restricting airflow into the engine bay doing this though?
