350z 2007 plate help

hi i iam getting a 07 plate 350z 300, but the block only has single intake is this right as i thought the 07's had the twin?

to the forum. 2007 was when the HR engine was introduced so probably a late registered 296bhp engined car.

296hp revup's are advertised as '300's' (which is the metric hp figure: 'PS') because it sounds better. If the advert has a misprint, the only sure way to tell (as bonnets have been changed on older cars) is if it has the HR twin air intake engine, and the clock redlines at 7500 rather than 7k. So you have answered your own question really, as has been said, the HR's didn't appear until the second half of 2007, so a lot of '07 cars are the previous DE single intake engine versions, which it would appear that you are getting.

Hmmm.. does that mean mines rare then cos its an 07 HR ?!
