Stew
What sort of miles will you get from them Nick? I would imagine it'd be low!
Nick_MSM
6-8,000 I imagine (hope it's not less!). Very pleased with them so far so we'll see how they wear. If it's madness then I'll change back to Potenzas probably.
Stew
Not as bad as I thought but it'll still be a pricey consumable
Andy
That many miles will be achieveable so long as you don't rag it EVERYWHERE!!! We did a full set of a Porsche race spec car and he did them in 1,500 miles!! Will pm you a price asap dude! Failing going for the R888's, have a think about the T1-R's instead. Very good grip and we do a lot of work with some Evo clubs and it is by far and away the tyre of choice over the Potenza's. Cheers, Andy
steve_b
R888 where getting bad press on 7's for odd wear, most went back to AO48's Have those issues been sorted as they were very new then. Sorry forgot to say your new car look great....
Nick_MSM
Thanks Steve. Can't afford the petrol to rag it everywhere! Have had T1R's on the 350z, thought they were fairly good. Always used Potenzas though on my last Evo.

charlied
I am m8 but there's no banter there its all tech! Im not too concerned about the fuel cos i live in town but I am worried about the paddle clutch its a biatch and not covered by the warranty!!!! Nick_MSM
Clutches are awful on them, mine has an uprated tripple plated one that should last fine. I had to change the clutch to an uprated one on my Tommi Makinen which is about a £1300 job so not cheap. Just take it easy on the launching and your be fine, presume the 400 has an uprated clutch so you should be fine anyway
charlied
Yeah some tricky to use Alcon paddle i believe. Thanks for the heads up ill look out for you over the summer
Kev946
Nice motor Nick. Love the carbon splitter.. Yeah some tricky to use Alcon paddle i believe. Thanks for the heads up ill look out for you over the summer I've got an Alcon Paddle clutch on the Cossie. It's a little grabby but not much different than a standard clutch.......except it'll handle 600 bhp...
Nick_MSM
Had an Alcon clutch on my Makinen, was fine mate so don't worry. Better having stiff foot than an empty wallet every few miles Went to first Evo meet of the year on Sunday, good turn out and fun drive home Ordering some carbon mirrors soon to match the splitter/wheels/spoiler etc.
