SteveRS
Just washed the car as its such a nice day here. As I was washing it I caught the badges and the Z has fallen off and the others are quite loose, what's the best stuff to use to stick the back on so that they stay there? coldel
Just some double sided tape from halfords or the like should work, the number plate fixing stuff. Just stick a couple of strips to the back, cut around the edges so there is no tape showing, stick back to car
leonk
As Coldel said plus make sure both the car area and the badge are really clean first, clean ALL old sticky off and warm double sided up a bit with hair dryer to make it stick better. ATTAK Z
If you're talking about the 350 Z badge at the rear, then you have 2 choices IMHO 1) de-badge 2) re-badge anything else will be a bodge
SteveRS
Cheers guys, I'll try the tape method!
SteveRS
So all I could get to stick the 350 numbers and Z badge back on was the thin number plate pads. Before I try it do you think these will work? I'm worried they might stand out too proud, it was the only thing I could get from Halfrauds! Wasso
De-badge FTW! It makes people even more curious as to what your car is. I have only the Zed badges under the indicators on the wings, and that's it.
coldel
I used some plate tape, its no thicker than the tape you get on badges you buy prepped with sticky on the back anyway? Doesn't stick out at all really.
SteveRS
How would they have been stuck on in the first place? I quite like the 350 Z badge though

coldel
Medium thin tape Seriously, it makes naff all difference a couple of mm...or if you really are concerned go the 3M route as Dave mentioned
SteveRS
I think i will give the 3M tape a go.
tobys
I got some 3m double sided tape off ebay, brilliant stuff +1 on 3M automotive tape. It's not always easy to find to buy, but it's definitely the business for badge sticking.
Daryl
Glad im not the only one with this issue. Thought the badges were put on with chewing gum to be honest. My 350Z badges are all moveable, and its frustrating. Think il debadge and just get some satin burger badges or something.

It's not always easy to find to buy, but it's definitely the business for badge sticking. It's not cheap either but it is fantastic stuff I got it for my CF interior, as it was 2nd hand it didn't come with tape and all the cheaper ones eventually started to come off.... Do you have a link for where you got it from, the only one I can find on eBay is around £2 for a 10mm roll is that the cheaper version?
