Gball1973
Is that not part of the idea/video for Metallica's "One" ? Well spotted Indeed it was. Read the book after i saw the "One" video then tracked a copy of the film down. Probably one of the few films which has shaped who i am today (as Bill Hicks said "for the troops but againt the war"). Dalton Trumbo the author was ostracized in the US during/after WW2 for being "un-american" and and the print suspended til the end of the war. He later refused to testify at a House Un-American Activities Committee investigating "communist influence in hollywood".

rodgeevans
Just watched a cracking film on film4 called district13 it's a French subtitled film with lots of martial arts, park hore and action. My nephew trains with a guy called Damion Walters and I reckon he must have done some of the stunts in this, he's done these sort of stunts in loads of films, doubles for Daniel Craig in the Bond films too Original is better the main guys do all there own stunts and the hero is actually the inventor of parkour if i remember correctly

fosk
Dead mans shoes - paddy considine and Toby kebbell are in it, Considine I think is the best British actor for some time, everything he does is awesome. The films pretty dark, English too.
