I love well written and possibly not that hyped movies though. things like Fargo, lots of stars, fairly well known however not a 'massive' movie. Tarmac... can you explain to me a movie I watched last night called "In The Realm Of The Senses" .... Did it mean anything? Or was it JUST porn? {edit}To explain, we have been trying to go through the IMDB top 500 movies and this was on the list from LoveFilm. Seemed to just be hardcore porn!{/edit} I'm not big on 'little known' movies these days. (said in as close to a Canadian accent as I can) Not a film, but on the same lines as Fargo... I LOVE LOVE LOVE "Twin Peaks" ...
CrumbMC
'Boiler room' is a good film. some of you may recognize the big bald headed guy in it. Also i watched 'Hanna' the other night. It was in the cinema earlier this year and just came on to Zune on Xbox live. i didn't hear much about it when it came out but it is one of my favorite films of the year. Zugara
Zardoz... Plenty of topless babes in this one, and Sean connery fly's around in a green head space ship. Totally crap film IMO.

Gball1973
All time favourite is an anti-war film set during WW1 called Johnny Got His Gun. Storyline is basically - guy goes to war (for democracy), guy gets blown up and loses ALL senses, his only communication being tapping his head using morse code, goes mad, fights madness and realises he went to war for a word. I'd love to see a remake set somewhere like Iraq or 'stan, think it would put the "war against Terror" into better perspective. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnL_tYRx_0Q

Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Just watched a cracking film on film4 called district13 it's a French subtitled film with lots of martial arts, park hore and action. My nephew trains with a guy called Damion Walters and I reckon he must have done some of the stunts in this, he's done these sort of stunts in loads of films, doubles for Daniel Craig in the Bond films too

Topcat
Ip man has some great fight sequences, Donnie Yen is a legend! True about irreversible, Love it or hate it. Just don't watch it with your girlfriend, not a happy lady after watching the tunnel scene! Martyr's is up there alongside Irreversible in the shock value category if that's your kind of thing, check it out. Also if anyone is in to obscure offbeat films. The bothersome man is top of my list, similair to Amelie in some ways.
BulletMagnet
Watch an old Luc Besson movie called "The Big Blue" about free diving and is a cool movie. Jean Reno is in it, before international fame.
Peter10
I liked IP man 2, thought IP man 1 was better... Ong Bak is a great martial arts film.... Ong Bak 2 - ok, Ong Bak 3 was dire Ong Bak was aimed at the western audience more than anything. Ong Bak 2 and 3 were aimed at a traditional audience. I really enjoyed them myself but I know where you are coming from. I have quite a vast taste in films but one which I really like and is well worth picking up is the film Hackers. It has a young Angelina Jolie in and is a great watch. Everyone has to see Drunken Master (Classic Jackie Chan film). Some of my other favourites include Monster, Tommy & A Clockwork Orange.
