Its each to their own.... how crap would life be if we all liked the same thing  ........ Baa Baa Baa Baa

There are some modded cars I think look fantastic, Carig's, Neils, Jays, Grahams, Blacky's.... The list could go on B) ... and there are some some I dont like.....who shall remain nameless.... but I dont slate them for having a car modded in the way THEY are happy with.

Its up to you, and your own personal taste

I think it's a valid thread, if you own a standard looking car and found yourself poking around the forum you could easily think that most owners put kits on their cars, I know I did so i can understand why the question would be posed....no one is slating anyones car.

I think it's a valid thread, if you own a standard looking car and found yourself poking around the forum you could easily think that 99% of owners put kits on their cars, so i can understand why the question would be posed....and based on the replys so far I'd imagine the chap who asked the question has an answer.

.. and hence another reason to close the thread....

Every view is biased

I just think that it would be difficult to trade in a modded 350 and thats the only reason I made that statement, its a bit like colour, white is now probably the favourite but lots of owners like their black, silver, red or whatever colour. Its all down to being free to do whatever you like to your own car.

I think its an aging thing too as I can remember (just about) when I drove cars which I thought were the bee's balls and now I would describe them as more noise than speed, then as i matured I got to like the more stock look where I could side at traffic lights beside a hatchback diguised as a F1 car and proceed to leave it for dead when the lights turned green. A bit like the story of the young bull and the more mature bull walking down the road when they noticed a field full of cows and the young bull said will we run in there and do one of those cows and the older bull replied NO WE WILL SNEAK IN AND DO THE WHOLE LOT OF THEM. B):yahoo:

What's the moral of that story? Missed it completely.

I agree with Craig. My cars modified to my taste to reflect what i want in a car.

I will never sell it and Im prepared to wreck it at the track. It's a toy, not a work horse. Everytime my car is out I drive it the way it was built to drive and have yet to have anything to go wrong... People use them as work horses and never have the full enjoyment of it.

No matter what anyone says views will always be biased as people with kits will say they love them and people without will say they hate them.

Very bad thread in my opinion. Love your car and that is all that matters. If people have similar taste to you and like your car then that's good. All this thread is doing is stirring up another girly feminine handbag match.

Time to lock. This place is a joke with these sort of bitch debates. Accept the fact not everyone likes everybody's car. Love your own and that's all that matters.

I didn't know it was compulsory to post in every thread, if you don't like a thread its quite simple DONT POST IN IT.

Forums are generally for debating and in debates people have differing views and that is healthy.

look mate, these thread generally end up going one way.

No matter what you think all you're getting is biased opinions. Nobody with a kit is going to say, "I dont like the kits" and as for shouting at me not to post in threads... watch your mouth ... no need to shout.

Forums are there for discussion. Discussion of things worth discussing. What you have asked, I can guarantee, will only get you biased answers which will then turn into a handbag throwing match.... so put your handbag away and as I said, no need to shout and be very careful who you choose to talk to that way.

Right unlocked again. To those concerned you have made your point, so please no more squabbling. Its obvious some like body-kits and some dont. Its a bit like women in the bedroom some men like them with extra kit on and some men like them with no kit. Same for the ladies i guess too!!:blush:

I'm glad to see sense has prevailed and a thread which has had 340 views has been unlocked, clearly this thread has been an interesting one to a lot of forumers and has had quite a few interesting posts although it has exposed a little immaturity and disrespect to one's elders but then I thought I knew everything when I was in my early twenties so I treat it with a little light hearted banter among owners of a very interesting car. B)

You have been told to calm down.

Using such comments to further rile a member when you were both told to end it will not be tolerated.

I'm warning you both. The next comment having a go at one another will result in a warning.

Surprising what a quick 'locking' can do for the viewing figures chief ;)

Its the best way to find the interesting threads :D

My opinion - own a Zed and don't socialise with other Zeds - Standard will do you fine

Own a Zed and socialise with other Zeds.......you can't help but want to stand out a bit.

I was wondering if I was the only one who actually prefers the 2006 facelift 350Zs in standard form with out all the go faster plastic side skirts and horrendous spoilers B)

It is a classic coupe shape as standard, but I didn't think the back end looked finished without a spoiler.

I am surprised this hasnt included a reference to the roadsters.

Your roadster is probably my favourite along with alex's. Two very different cars built for very different things.

The roadster definately needs a wing
