uberspac
Hi all, New to the forum. Am after a stock OEM y pipe please DE or HR, prefer the HR. In good condition with no or very very very little damage to the flex. Am in Bristol area, so the more local the better. If I've missed something, let me know and apologies in advance. Thanks uberspac

Wasso
You can't fit a HR pipe to a DE car and vice versa as far as I'm aware
uberspac
I'm pretty sure you can, its just the distance of the bends that's different. Fitting should be the same. Someone in the know, correct me ASAP if I'm wrong as need to replace one pretty soon!
Wasso
I know doubleduce purchased a HR for his DE and had to get rid of it as it failed to fit?

Cro
Plenty of the my350z boys have the hr y fitted to the de
Wasso
They are clearly force fitting it then, cos I'm to believe they are not a direct swap.
uberspac
The pipes actually going on a G35 which has space for both DE and HR pipes. The only problem with a direct swap on the 350z from my research is some plastic pieces on the underside of the car which seem to get in the way. Oh and also possibly because 350z has a shorter body. Some pics on these links. http://g35driver.com/forums/intake-exhaust/362797-hr-y-pipe-06-g35-coupe.html http://g35driver.com/forums/intake-exhaust/245202-350z-hr-y-pipe-installed-2003-g35.html
ianphampton
Y pipe off a 2005 JDM roadster (276) available - not sure what that makes it . . . See the photo - can you tell from this? It's done about 25k miles, looks reasonable. Make me an offer - unfortunately mail to Bristol will be around £20 on top
uberspac
Hi all, thanks for the replies, Paul sorted me out in double quick time! Nice one mate! Not sure if mods need to lock this or not. Am still interested in a HR pipe if anyone comes by one!
