dukki17
I noticed whilst washing my Zed that paint has started flaking off my Rays alloys. Is this normal or is it due to a poor paint job? How can I go about getting this repaired? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
R35LEE
Ye if they are not kept waxed and if there has been brake dust left on them for a prolonged period of time they are known to flake 2 Options are powder coating or take them to a paintshop to be spray painted. Third option is DIY but I have seen a few guys do them badly themselves
HassanZ
Mine were like this when I purchased my Zed, I think it's very common! I got my set of RAYS refurbed in a 'hyper silver' (very metallic/shiny silver) colour. The original colour looks too flat in my opinion. R35LEE
Ye I would get then bright silver as HassanZ said or an metallic anthracite
dukki17
Excellent, thanks for that folks. Ill get on the case of finding my nearest wheel refurbs centre. I'm sure there'll be many more questions to come as I'm a newbie on the Zed scene. Thanks again.
