Cal Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Concept and design by myself, programmed by a friend. Basically activates your backlight/illuminates your screen for all new notifications rather than just a tiny red LED - 'fault' across all BlackBerry models. Info below, hope some of you may find it useful... tell a friend http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/54896 Tired of just a tiny red light to inform you that you have new text/email/notifications? Then LightUp your BlackBerry! LightUp illuminates your device screen when receiving new notifications; • Text Messages • Email • BlackBerry Messenger • Facebook • Twitter (DM and New Tweets) • MySpace • WhatsApp LightUp has an active/inactive option. Quickly revert back to default flashing red light mode for privacy/formal events etc. LightUp is customisable; • You choose which notification types you want your screen illuminated for, and which you do not. • You choose the duration of screen illumination and brightness level. Neilp Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 many sold yet? Looks like a good idea but my blackberry sucked so bad it lies in a cupboard somewhere and iphone 3gs has pride of place now Quote
Cal Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 Sorry for the bump... Couple of hundred Neil, less than I was expecting but to be fair I've only marketed it on my personal Facebook. I need a Twatter/Google+ - both employ a 'global broadcast' style post method I think... I need to reach a global audience. Quote
