se350z
hi everyone, i received a phone call from my insurance company and they told me that my car is an import? but i doesn't say anything about that on the log book, also they cancelled my policy , how am i going to find out if its an import? :S
Vik54
Easiest indicator - is your rear number plate square? You may find quite simply that your insurance comapny are just muppets If it does turn out to be an import - that's no skin off your nose - just find an insurer that realises it doesn't matter one way or another
ATTAK Z
is the indicator stalk on the right or the left ? also show us some pics and we may be able to help
leonk
As above plus have a look on your V5 registration doc, pretty sure..... "declared new at first registration" = uk registered from new by dealer i.e not "import" "previously registered and or used overseas" = import. Someone else may help to confirm wording. se350z
indicator is on the left, on most of the insurance comparison sites it shows as normal coupe 2007 350z and on some of them it says fairlady, but it doesnt write fairlady on the log book. these are the pics of it... zollburgers
I had the same issue and had to argue with them that it wasn't an import. If I put my reg in Compare The Market it says it's a UK car, if I do it in Confused.com it says it's a Fairlady.
Mega
I had the same issue and had to argue with them that it wasn't an import. If I put my reg in Compare The Market it says it's a UK car, if I do it in Confused.com it says it's a Fairlady. Agreed. As such the quotes coming from confused were totally shite. They looked it up and said it was import. But quidco compare and compare the market had it correctly as a UK car. CTM therefore 300 cheaper from Admiral compared to confused! Very silly Must be something on the older cars..
MidnightRacer
do the headlight washers function? I believe they were a UK thing only Dosen't help in this case as the bumper is not OEM hence why I asked if they function!
